Michael Power

Michael Power, born in 1977 and residing in Maynooth, Co Kildare, is a talented artist known for his realistic paintings that often draw on constructed or found images. His work explores the qualities and relationships within images, creating a layered sense of place that invites viewers to uncover new realities beneath the surface. Power has held solo exhibitions at prominent venues such as the Bank of Ireland Art Centre and Signal Arts Centre, and has participated in numerous group shows, including the RHA Dublin Annual Show and the RUA Belfast Annual Show. His upcoming participation in the Connections Group Show at Farmleigh Gallery promises to showcase his continued exploration of art. His work is also included in various public and private collections, notably the Northern Ireland Civil Service Art Collection.
